Grading 8 December and dinner 1 November

Our next gup grading is on Thursday 8 December; pregrading is on Thursday 10 November.Remember you must have 24 signed sessions (32 for blue through red belts) to be eligible to grade AND you must pass your pregrading. Study your theory, and ensure you know your fundamental movements well!We also have a club dinner after training on Tuesday 1 November after training. It would be great to see everyone and your parents along!See More

Connor's First Texas Grading

Hi All

Hope you are all well in NZ. Just a quick note to say that Connor had his first grading in Texas. They do things a little differently over here. They had about 50 testing. Instead of 4 at a time they have a system where they have 4 'stations' and the participants rotate round the stations (patterns, step sparring, kicks, self defence) getting tested by the examiner and assistants. Well hi there,

Those of you that have been to training last tuesday and thursday will have met me, but for thouse of you that weren't there, this is just a few lines for me to say hello and to give my first impressions about the club.

It's been a few years since I've been training on a regular basis. I trained with Mr van Heerden at Master Bhana's Pakuranga club from 1999 to roughly 2005-2006 and got to red belt.
